This Program Is Available On-Campus
Students in the English as a Second Language (ESL) program will master an instructional program which includes a variety of integrated sources in instruction with a computer at the heart of the system. The program will have students master three levels of ESL by completing successfully 6 components (vocabulary, language, speaking, writing, reading, listening) in 3 measurable levels (Basic, Intermediate, Advanced).
The program brings new dimensions to English language enabling students to experience real life situations and native language model. The program allows for customized integration of resources and learning activities so that students can go through the three levels: Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced by completing a corresponding module in each level of Vocabulary, Language, Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking. Students will be administered the CASAS Pretest to determine the students ESL level and a Post-test at each level will determine the student’s ability to progress through each level.
