  1. What are the admissions requirements?
    For admission into any course or certificate program, all candidates are required to complete an interview with an admissions consultant. Each candidate must also either be a high school graduate or the equivalent or pass an entrance assessment.

  2. Is financial aid available?
    Financial aid is available, as well as payment plans and other financial assistance.

  3. What are the hours of operation?
    Administration hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. Training Center hours are Monday and Wednesday 8:00 am to 9:00 pm; Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; and Saturday 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.Class times vary by campus.   4. Are there classes on holidays?
    The Training Center is closed in recognition of the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the day after, and Christmas Day.

  5. Are there specific class start dates?
    There are no specific class start dates. Students may begin class on any day of the week.

  6. What are the attendance procedures?
    Students are expected to attend scheduled classes. Students offering notice 24 hours in advance for missed classes may attend make-up classes, with an available station.

  7. What is the grading policy?
    • A: 90 – 100%, 4.0
    • B: 80 – 89%, 3.0
    • C: 70 – 79%, 2.0
    • D: 60 – 69%, 1.0

  8. What are the graduation requirements?
    The requirements that must be met by Sullivan and Cogliano Training Centers, Inc., students to be considered for graduation are as follows:

    1. For continuing education courses: successful completion of all academic requirements of the course with a minimum GPA of 2.0;
    2. For certification programs: proficiency with the basic levels of at least two software applications demonstrated by a 2.0 grade point average or better, and 80% attendance;
    3. Meet all financial obligations to the school.

  9. What recognition does the student receive?
    A certificate of completion is awarded to students who meet both grade and financial requirements. We are an authorized testing center for the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) via Certiport and the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) for National Certificaions in Insurance Processing and Medical Office Assistant. Additionally, we are a CompTIA Business Partner affording our students certification vouchers for A+, Network+ and Security+.

  10. Where can students train?
    Students can train within our campus locations, from home or from their place of employment. Training from home and work is delivered via our mobile classroom.

    Students can choose our online training option offering 24/7 online instructional access to our educational team. Save on commuting while maximizing your learning and employment skills.

  12. Do you offer corporate training?
    We offer customized training for corporations needing to provide employees with new skills training in order to increase productivity, profitability and employee retention.

  13. Is Sullivan and Cogliano Training Centers licensed?
    We are licensed by the Departments of Education within the states of Massachusetts and Florida. All licenses and approvals are displayed in the administrative offices of Sullivan and Cogliano Training Centers.

  14. Is Sullivan and Cogliano Training Centers accredited?
    We are nationally accredited by the Council on Occupational Education (COE) with our main campus in Massachusetts along with two branch campuses in Florida. All accreditation approvals are displayed in the administrative offices of Sullivan and Cogliano Training Centers, Inc.

  15. Does Sullivan and Cogliano Training Centers enroll international students?
    We are approved to enroll nonimmigrant students and can issue a Form I-20. Visit our International Students page.

  16. What is your policy on civil rights?
    We admit students of any sex, religion, race, color, nationality and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the School.     We help students acquire the skills necessary to understand their career goals, develop effective cover letters and resumes, and build the confidence to perform successful networking and interviewing techniques.

  19. What is the Lifetime Partnership program?
    At Sullivan and Cogliano Training Centers, we want your education to last you a lifetime. Students completing their curriculum are offered the opportunity to refresh and/or continue their education through the Lifetime Partnership program. This connects students to certified experts for technological answers and applies to coursework reflected on the student’s enrollment agreement.

    Our programs vary in length and range from 4 weeks to 9 months. Our individualized approach and customized schedules let you choose the hours that work best for you.
